if you have 40% pure avoidance (not block), thats 40% avoidance eats up about 6 2/3%
this leaves a 10% in reduction in hits that would be blocked or taken.
IF... (and this is currently impossible) you had 80% pure avoidance, it would eat up 13 1/3% of the attacks - leaving only a 3 1/3% reduction in hits that would be blocked or taken.
So... this talent's value generally inversely scales with your pure avoidance.
Let say you are a new 80.... and you have a 30% pure avoidance.
This talent would reduce the hits you block or otherwise take by 11 2/3%!
OK. so the other factors... block cap, block value, and incoming hit amount.
if you have 102.4% including block.... and your block value is 8k, and the incoming hit is 7.5k - this stat is USELESS.
again, its a diminishing value based on gear.
