does the jc trinket invoke the GCD?

I can't remember and I'm at work.

I always forget to use it and I'd like to tie it to one of my other abilities like holy shield so I use it whenever its up.

is that possible?

Nope. Trinket activation is not on the GCD so you can use it right in your macros. For example you can use the following to activate both trinkets and Divine Protection at the same time.

because the super short CD of the ability, i bound it to hammer of right, so its always active.
