Hello dear MainTankadins,
"Furious Angels" is a Horde Guild located on the EU-PVP Server Al'Akir.
Formed in 1998, FA as a community has members from all over Europe, with a long tradition in online-gaming and has been active in multiple MMORPGs - many with great success. Our WoW section has been raiding for near on 3 years, after originally being formed pre-TBC to raid without the "wtfhardcore" approach (which often puts those with RL commitments off).
We have made steady progress since the release of the expansion, clearing KZ/ZA/Gruul/Mags and SSC - including our first Vashj kill after only a handful of attempts!
Up until recently, the guild was was standing in front of Kael'Thas - unfortunately progress was halted as numerous players left after only a couple of 'resets' in search for 'Greener Pastures'.
This leads us onto the main point of me posting here. We often make use of a Paladin OT in our raids (SSC, TK, ZA etc) and due to limited activity of the current one we have on our books (and the other leaving...) we are actively searching for a Tankadin!
Our Weekly Raid Schedule sees us raiding SSC & TK on Wed / Thurs / Sun / Mon / Tues (19:30 until 23:30 Servertime).
Fridays and Saturdays are scheduled 'rest-days'. Usually we do KZ, ZA and Heroics on these days for those who want to raid and farm Badges - alternatively members can enjoy themselves away from the game on these nights and have a 'social-life' (whatever that is...
)
Loot is handled using a Fixed-Sum DKP System in SSC & TK. Each Boss is worth 20 DKP, Firstkill is 150% DKP. Items have a fixed DKP Value, and drops are offered firstly to those with the most DKP.
Applying Tankadins should be equipped in at least T4 / Badge Reward Kit or the equivalent (better gear is always welcome!) and should you have kit to Tank/Off-tank Hydross then that's an extra 'tick'
All raiders are expected to be able to raid at least 3 nights a week, this ensures we are never short of people to raid. You are also expected to be a Team-player, be self-sufficient (coming fully prepared/equipped to raids) and be able to use Teamspeak2 (voice-comms).
