2.3 Weapon Expertise Defined

Well, finally, a blue clearly defines weapon expertise.

Expertise: We have added a new stat and associated rating called expertise and expertise rating. Expertise rating converts to expertise at the same rate that weapon skill rating formerly converted at.

Each point of expertise reduces the chance for your attacks to be dodged or parried by 0.25%.

Now how do the 5 talent points seem?

Yes, the other line is:

Weapon Expertise (Protection) renamed Combat Expertise, now increases expertise by 1/2/3/4/5 and total Stamina by 2/4/6/8/10%

So if a mob has a 5.6% chance to parry you, that means we need 23 total Expertise to completely remove Parry from the table. Weapon Skill currently gives 1 point per 3.9 rating, and Expertise is supposed to be the same, so that means we'd need 70.2 expertise rating with the 5 expertise from Combat Expertise.

EDIT: And that would remove dodges too, which makes it amazing

EDIT 2: Actually now that I think about it I'm pretty sure mobs have a higher than 5.6% chance to parry.
