JoL TPS in Wrath-25 content.

WWS parse of Sapph-25

Judgement of Light having threat is stupid.

Saphhiron it does 3,932 HPS, 1.38 million healing, 2nd overall, 15% of healing done. It's as good as having an extra healer in the raid. Sapphiron is "best case" boss in the entirety of 3.0.

TPS of JoL at Sapph is ... Over 5000 with RF turned on. Even with RF turned OFF, JoL is about 2k TPS - my personal DPS is about 1.5k (would drop a little if not tanking), which means that my minimum TPS at Sapphiron is over 3,000 Makes it very hard to let anyone else tank Sapph (and we try and share tanking around).

TPS from actually tanking is ...

DPS: 1,543
Holy DPS: 1,188 x 1.9 x 1.43 = 3,228
Not Holy: 355 x 1.43 = 507

Tanking TPS: 3,735 (sounds right)... plus ~5.5k from JoL wait for it... OVER 9000!

well, blizzard has stated more than once that they didnt want tanks to have to worry about threat nearly as much as they used to.

Honestly, i dont have a big issue with it, its kind of nice being the best tank for a change , not to mention that threat is pretty irrelevant anymore. i dont really see threat as a number anymore, and with the exception of certain encounters, its either you have threat, or you dont.

Patchwerk doesn't count :p

Hateful strike adds a ton of threat to the top 2-3 tanks.

I usually let the holy judge it, for more healing per proc. Doesn't make threat become any issue so far.

JoL threat is retarded, anyways. What happens the next time there's a fight like Twins with massive raid damage and the need for things to be tanked apart by two people.

Also, since Paladin threat seems to be balanced around JoL, what happens when there's a fight with next to no raid damage? Suddenly Paladins are the weakest tank threat wise.

I spiked at 11k tps on patchwerk 25 the other day when heroism was up

Should've used wings, had to save DP for the 5% enrage anyway.

I am running into the same issue. Can easily pull off any other tank type we bring to raids. The warrior's threat really seems subpar to what we can push out now.
