Help! TPS Problems

I was tanking Gorefiend last night and i was averaging 750-800 TPS, that was in a group with WoA totem up, using wizard oil but not a flask a blinding light as i normally do, is it normal for my average TPS to be that low?
Armory link is in the sig.
Is that normal with my current gear?

I will also mention i specced out of reckoning for imp crusader lately, since my rl sugested i skipped kings due to the fact that we always have at least 2 holy paladins at all times in the raid for getting that point somewhere else.
Should i spec back to reckoning?

Would speccing 40/21 help considering i am always tanking illidan and AD could help there?

My SD is a little lower than yours, and fully buffed I don't have a problem with 1k+ TPS. Since Gorefiend allows for exorcism, your TPS should be higher.

First question -- what are you using to check your TPS? If it's Omen, the default settings for that program don't provide accurate TPS data, because the value updates too quickly. So, if that's the case, you may be doing better than you think.

If you're sure 800 is your TPS, then pay attention to managing your CDs, always do a full rotation, use SoR as your seal, max rank consecrate, etc. You should also regear to use the libram of divine purpose. The BR libram is useless unless you're dying for uncrushable. If that's --the-only-way-- you can get uncrushable, then keep it on. But that's probably not the case for you.

Some other suggestions, since you say your DPS is holding back. You have a good amount of spell damage, but you've passed up on a few equivalent pieces that do have spell damage. Jungle stompers, for one, are essentially the equivalent of the 2.3 badge boots, except they don't have SD. So, you might pick up those for 60 badges. T4-T5 aren't amazing, but neither are your badge gloves. I'm sure you're waiting for a token drop, because T6 gloves are great. Also, why not get the S2 shield with SD on it?

Make sure to maximize your threat at the start to get a lead, too. Minmax your wings, don't judge wisdom during it, get a MD, put up crusader if needed...

Also, obligatory "DPS is always going to hold back no matter what you do blah blah" (true to an extent, probably true in this case).

did you judge crusader?

(serious question. that's the BIGGEST threat loss most paladins forget. You start with crusader up maybe, but the judgement doesn't go off and you switch to righteousness too soon...)

Ye i was doing most of what you guys are sayin, including crusader witch i always judge, i noticed things changed now, i am guessing respeccing back to reckoning was an awesome boost, and also the fact that gorefiend hits hard but very slow.

Yeah... I respecced from Reckoning to imp SotC to try to help our bear runs and my threat hasn't been as impressive as I would like it to be.

I also noticed omen was giving me less than 1K tps during the fight while post fight wws reports an average 1060 tps.
I had 450 SD + wiz oil and alar trinket, had no other threat helping buffs

Honestly the best thing you can do, after looking at your thingy, is to dump mana. As you can see: http://rehfeld.us/wow/wws-tps/report-53365 it adds a considerable amount of threat.

Wearing too much avoidance can lower your threat too, but just dumping mana, making sure you aren't being retarded and letting your auto attacks land without a seal up (something I do occasionally because i'm stupid and fail etc) and keep everything up as much as you can, exorcism every cd etc.

I use the ashtongue talisman of zeal and the icon of the silver crescent, pop the trinket and wings after sotc has been judged and a shadow priest has misery up and you'll burst out tons of threat, if you aren't able to sustain threat over a period, maybe getting this bit of burst threat at the start will help you out?

I've noticed that group composition doesn't really increase my TPS much, the link I gave was myself in a group with 3 casters and a shaman, I recieved his heroism and didn't do anything fancy other than that.

Oh just another thing, the shorter the fight, the more bloated your threat figures are, as the percentage of time you're using cooldowns is higher!

And... if people aren't QQing about being threat capped, don't worry about threat, it's much more important to select the correct gear for the fight and not die than it is to e-peen on Omen.

#showtooltip judgement
/cast judgement
/cast seal of righteousness

will solve your problem of not getting your seal back when judging.
I have it bound to '2' and when im going full bore threat cycle, i open up with crusader up, hs, wing macro, Shield Pull, then spam 2 till i see righeousness up.
