Seal Twisting: How is it done and does it help with TPS?

It works if you're Alliance.

Step 1. Build up a 5-stack of seal of vengeance.
Step 2. Judge and switch to seal of Righteousness.
Step 3. Judge and switch back to Seal of Vengeance before the stack drops off.

It works if you can refresh the five-stack SoV before it drops off.

In WotLK with the 2-minute, much more expensive Seals, it's probably not going to be as viable.

It wont be viable in wrath because of mana and because of GCD conflicts.
It's already difficult for most people.

Ulushnar's post says it all.

As of today it's all good, do it that way. Otherwise, whatever. It'll be gone in a month or so when patch 3 lands and seals get too expensive and gcds too tight.

Yeah, it's like having a dream that everyone hates you, but then realizing wow seriously everyone really does hate you.

Seal twisting + 3.0/Wrath != viable.

Don't do it.

Pre patch, go for it if you can manage it. I think it squeaks out a little more TPS, but I've never seen the use for it.
