Judgment of Blood

I've read somewhere that Judgment of Blood cannot be missed/resisted and thus is ideal for pulls (where AS is inappropriate). Can someone please confirm this? Also, if true, does anyone know why?

PS - Sorry if this explained somewhere already, if so I couldn't find it.

Yeah JoB always hits. Don't ask me where, we read that all the time and my parses never ever showed a job resist, same for our rets

For some mechaninc JoB cannot be resisted. Well, it can be "partially" resisted, but when you judge it you are always too 100% sure you will damage the target.

There's no official explanation for it, it's just like that.

Well considering that Seal of Blood is considered a melee attack (can be parried/avoided), perhaps there is some of that mechanic that transfers over to the Judgement.

But then it would be parriable or dodgable, which it isn't. It simply just always hits.

It does 1/3 of the damage to you, so it cannot miss as its powered by YOUR BLOOD.

Is that enough of a justification? Smile

It counts as a magical attack (so cannot be used on Kara worms / BoSpellWarding target on Council.

Uses melee Crit for double damage.

Judgement of Righteousness and Command both use spell hit, the "debuff" judgements all auto-hit so maybe Blood was tagged as autohit like them by whoever designed it?
