Avenger's Shield vs. Sanctity Aura

Just as a side note, AD saved my butt on Gruul last night. We weren't into any of the higher growths, but at one point the silence caught my healers off guard (timer was off again), and as luck would have it, holy shield went down half way through. I got dropped down to 5000 life and the next hit, which should have been for around 6k, got dropped down to the 4200 range, and I lived long enough for the silence to wear off, popped LoH on myself and a mana pot and all was well. Yay for AD.

Blizz have made a game where personal choice and play style can and are catered for.

Warrior tank, bear tank, pally tank are all different play styles

so is AS vs Sanctity

I personally like the ranged pulling aspect of AS to much to give it up. If you look at my spec, i'm spec'd different than most in that i have 41 in prot and went down ret to get crusade. it works for me and like it. It will change to a more cookie cut mode at 2.3, but for now i'm sticking with what i have

Kvark finds the agro component from Sanctity aura to nice to miss.

It's personal choice. Neither spec will make you a tanking god. you playing well with what you choose will make as much or more of a difference.

End of the day folks, this is a game. pick something you enjoy and make it work
