You can't keep the threat of 2500 DPS people without having decent amounts of hit and expertise.

Luck with dodges is luck, i got 45-50% avoidance as well on brutallus kills pre enrage (40 seconds pre enrage last week).
We as well had extremely horrible attempts where either me or our warrior died due to 8-9 hits not avoided in a row, the RNG is evil occasionally.

As i said it's a matter of balancing gear. Even if warrior itemization is a little better than ours still. But they can't just stack stamina and avoidance midlessly, they need appropriate amounts of expertise and hit.

However, Brutallus isn't really a good example for this, don't forget there are 2 tanks, and you inherit the other tank's threat. On our kills, when i tank, due to my ridicolous aggro (40/21 srs business), he can swap for more avoidance instead of more threat, since i generate the threat he misses for those swaps.

That's as well a good point to use when a paladin wants to tank him.

And noone ever said warriors are INFERIOR to Paladins. We're saying they are perfectly equal.

The 4% damage reduction is applied at last, after all the reductions. When talking in numbers, you can take any WWS report with war+paladin, and in 90% of the cases, they take about same average damage.

From a burst of 21k, 4% would remove around 800 damage, which are countered by our block value which will remove 1200.

Brut isn't a very good example because you usually have a warrior tanking with you who keeps up thunderclap.

If you are solo tanking the boss then a paladin will take 20% more damage than a warrior, because Paladins do not have thunderclap.

You are relying on your DPS warriors to do it for you in that situation, and most of them really hate doing it because they have to get out of berserker rage in which to cast it.

Of course in a really well-disciplined guild this would not be an issue, and that is probably true of most Sunwell guilds, but the average person's experience with a pally tank means a pally tanking without the benefit of thunderclap, which is why they (rightly) believe that paladins take more damage.

Any dps warrior who refuses to keep TC up does not even deserve to have got out of Karazhan. I don't consider the "paladins can't keep TC up" a point that makes sense in end-game raiding.

Else you'd have to say that warriors suck cause they can't increase their own hp by 10% and need a holy or prot paladin to do it

It isn't, both bring buffs.

My answer to every warrior who refused to use TC was reblessing him with Wisdom (i was usually blessing kings or salvation, hence i nerfed his dps horribly by doing so. They learned quick who's the master)

And no, you aren't nerfing the DPS of any warrior if he keeps up TC, it can be done with minimum loss of DPS (3-40 dps less)

Honestly it's quite better now that i'm the main tank, they cannot say "no" so i don't have to threaten them.
