Tremor totem.

The new fear is still as deadly as it was before, the difference is you can afford to take one or two hits before the tremor totem ticks as opposed to before where someone else would die.

yeah

I had the same experience on Olm in gruul's as well - lots of incoming damage for healers to keep up with. Just have to make sure your healers know when you're feared to spam you (just like in other encounters when stunned).

Thanks for your replies dear tank buddies. In fact, preventing fear on Olm ist next to impossible (he chain fears) so tremor totem is the only thing that seems reasonable to try.

Using the totem and replacing the paladin/warrior tank setup a single druid tank (due to his impressive HP and AP that keeps him alive better when feared) is probably what we will do, together with instructions for the locks to keep alive the enslaved felhounds for longer periods of time.

Thanks again for your ideas,

Well the mobs in SP, Tempests I believe, definitely do leave you, confirmed over like 5 runs, there's another thread in basic training I think where someone suggested they have another ability that makes them do that, not sure really, its not threat I am usually about 200-300% over the dps on those fights, and as soon as fear breaks, be it through a bubble or time, they bolt straight back to me, I assume its just meant to be the way the fight works. And tbh those pulls would be overly simple trash pulls without that mechanism, need something to spice up the run.

I have noticed other mobs and bosses staying on me though, such as the warlock in SH, which makes that fight ridiculously easy now, but the prophets in sethek also seem to go for a different target, only been to sethek once since patch though.

I had the same experience in SP heroic last night the mobs definitly didn't stay on me during fear. Caught me off guard after reading about the fear changes in the patch notes i expected the mobs to stick to me.

Can the fear from the mobs in SP can be broken with BoSacrifice? If so can you just dump it on a lock and get him to life tap? For that matter does this work on moroes?
