While i agree SoV is unpredictable, it's not too hadr to keep track of the DoT and see when it's wearing off, which enables you to switch to SoR in time to keep the TPS going. Anyhow, if you reach 5 stacks and keep that up for just a short while, SoV was worth it. I'm still at the "nub" level gearwise with my pally tank. Anyhow, i think the 40 spelldamage loss from the tranistion S1 Gavel -> LC Mace isn't bad at all, when it enables me to use SoV rather predictably. I use SoV on all bosses and mobs that take longer than 30 sec to down. I open with JoR, though Razz.
