Lamellar glad gear

Ok so I was working on gear for a shock spec and I now have the head, chest, shoulders of Lamellar. I've decided to move towards prot instead. Of the three glad sets this one has the highest stam, and spell dmg, so I'm thinking these 3 peices will suit prot just fine untill i get upgrades. So if the rest of my gear is +def and avoidance, anyone think I'll have issues with the 3 peices of Lamellar?
