Agi VS. Strength

hey guys.
i have think about the stats between strength & agi.so i just looked at my character and find that agi gives u more dodge then strength gives u parry °_°.
kind of confiused.anybody know´s why?

i think it maybe that plate tanks (warrior/pally/dk) all have acess to agil enchants that are mainstream (leg enchants), and have gear that has str on it, but druids only have agil
so in order to have a better tank balance, they overvalued agil -> dodge vs str -> parry so plate tanks wouldnt have more avoidence then bears automatically

combine that with the fact there is not specific leather tanking gear (after all there is one leather tank spec, vs 3 plate tank specs), thus bears have to get dodge from trinkets/gems/enchants/agil conver. where plate gets some avoidence from gear

We recieve 25% of our strength as parry rating, 26.25% with kings.
1 Agility gives 0.58034381 dodge rating, 0.609361 with kings.

hey,

at my gear I found that 1/4 * Str = 1/2 * Agi = 1 Avoid-Rating, so given the choice (all other things equal) Agi > Str !
(You might want to check that with your current gear, that the rule of thumb for me )

Yes, when I was testing agility trinkets, I was getting about 1 agility = 0.5 dodge. I'd hoped for 0.6, but it was not to be.

Also, I'm not sure why you guys are suggesting that it's closer to 1/2. The conversion is exact and doesn't change based on your gear level.
