Secondly I'd like to ask if its a good idea to hit cap now because of it?

Have you been wiping because you haven't had an interrupt until now? No? Then (I would argue), no.

For now:

Keep a hit trinket and a pair of hit-enchanted, gemmed, hit gloves. With food and a flask you can cap.
