111stam VS 95 parry trinket.

Hello there,
im not usually the one to ask about gearing, as i like to gear for what i momentarilly (does that word even exist?) like, anyway today i got the 95 parry trinket for sapphiron, i'm absolutely sure i'll use it for hard hitters and such, like sapph himself, prolly malygos and such, anyway i'm not sure if i should include it in my MT set.

Im gearing to keep stats in balance, and still be uncrushable. Now i'm at about 57% avoidance with essence of gossamer, and about 27200HP. When i replace essence with the sapph trinket, i'm down to 26k hp and 58,5% avoidance, now i want your opinions, for an overall balanced set for tanking 25mans(i use BV set in 10s), which would you use?

I believe the third trinket option is required to make an informed decision.

Well the other trinket im using, and i definitely will is the valor medal (84 dodge), i just cant decide if i'll use another avoidance trinket with it or rather stam.

Depends on the fight...

I would generally run the Essence of Gossamer for trash and fights where there are mechanincs that favor more EH... (maexxna MT, patchwerk-10 OT)

I would rock the avoidance on boss fights where the extra stam isn't as much of a game breaker (loatheb, thaddius)

like many choices - keep them both and interchange them :)

Alright thanks, after a bit of thinking, i think 26k unbuffed is enough of a buffer for most bosses out there so i'll run with 2 avoidance trinkets, i'll prolly regem to get back to some 26,5k, and will just slap on stam trinkets on things like malygos, kel'thuzad and such, where magical damage(or melee oneshot/stun on maexxna) is a danger.

I'll set myself on adds/drakes on sarth anyway, 'cos we have fairly good DK and i assigned him to sarth on our +1 kill already, so i guess i'll stich with adds here, at least i look generous to pass the MT spot sometimes :P So here the stam wont be THAT needed either for me, and who doesn't like avoiding hits, right? :>

Anyways if there's any flaw in my thinking, or boss that will make me sure that 26k unbuffed is low and i didnt mention him, thanks in advance for pointing that out :>

Stamina for Malygos. Too much of his damage is from spells.

Unrequested facts:
(pre-DR)The Rune of Repulsion gives about 90% the
Valor Medal of the First War's avoidance.

The use effects of these trinkets are on different cooldowns.
@ 24.44 dodge: +5.74
@ 20.78 parry: +4.18
So popping both trinkets at the same time gave me roughly a 10% increase in avoidance for ~20 seconds.

Oh yep,im not sure why i said i'd use it on malygos,as the stam wins there, at least this board tells that, and i tend to trust that ;) I have a lot of parry rating now when i got the sartharion uber chest, so the trinket gives me way too much less than the dodge one, still i think i'll keep it fr most bosses, as they dont need high health buffer anyway, with the exceptions already mentioned.
