Lavanthor's Talisman

How does this trinket stack up to the badge trinket, the essence of the gossamer, and older ones like Commendation of Kael'thas?

I'm wondering which to replace and which ones to pursue.

It's fantastic for getting to block cap. Trinkets tend to be situational...for isntance, it's vastly inferior to EoG on Maexxna, with web wrap = no avoidance or blocking. All situational, but the Talisman will likely be your "default" trinket for a while until you can get block-capped without it.
