Need opinion on ring

Ring of the Stalwart Protector VS Ring of Sundered Souls

Currently have the Ring of the Stalwart Protector. Wondering if farming for the Ring of Sundered Souls is smart. Raid buffd with Stalwart I'm ~20.4k armor, 20k life 62% avoidance. With Sundered I would be ~20k armor, 63% avoidance, 20k life.

my other ring is: Band of the Eternal Defender

Thanks for the advise (BTW I know rings are both tied at number 2 slot in worth, still confused on which ones better ><)

The badge ring because it doesn't require farming on your part.

If you already had the SSC ring I would lean towards it.

Also would you mind giving your damage reduction for armor with both rings?

well i host SSC pugs 6/6 clear every week for guildies to get gear/vials and so i can get more badges to sell epic gems. So its not really a problem to get it.

According to WoWWiki The recipe is:
%Reduction for 73 = (Armor / (Armor + 11960)) * 100

Filling in my numbers:
Badge ring DR (No Priest/Shaman buff)=63%
Badge ring DR (Priest/Shaman buff)=67.17%
SSC ring DR (No Priest/Shaman buff)=62.34%
SSC ring DR (Priest/Shaman buff)=66.51%

Those are rough estimates with the wowwiki formula

SSC ring in that case.

Remember there's an expansion coming out in a little over a week, at which point there will be new gear from new places. This makes me wonder if farming for current gear is what you want to do, vs. stocking up on gold or honor.
