Hey, im needing some help

Im a level 61 Prot Pally , Hoping to become an maintankadin , and i was wondering, is there anything i can start doing now to gain an upper hand on the gear grind that comes at 70.

Also , if you can give me any information on the gearing process whatsoever, and what kind of gear i will need before even thinking about tank an instance at 70, and what gear specifically i will need at kara.

If this has already been answered , im sorry , but the search function didnt show anything

I guess doing the daily pvp every day would help in the long run to cut the size of the grind for the s2 gavel at 70.
