gear check for KZ

According to the Gear Check/Advice Thread i need to make a new thread for questions about my gear, if im wrong, please tell me so

Would i be able to off-tank and even main-tank some bosses in Kharazan? Have been in there but have been holy specced till now, and im talking about buffed up

/edit: The group contains T5 equivalent DPS / Healers most experience up to 3rd boss BT (yes, i know the first 3 bosses are sissies ).

No, no, one thousand times no.

First step: You don't have 490 Defense. That's bush-league.

Secondly: You're not anywhere near uncrushable.

Your defense is under 490 - You're crittable and itll be VERY hard, even with good healers. Also, your health is pretty low, and you look crushable.

That said, you have a lot of kara gear in that tank set, and getting kara ready should be fairly easy. Firstly, enchant your gear - get the 12 stam to boots, Threat to gloves, +15 def to chest, 12 def to bracers, and get the scryer/aldor chant on your shoulders.
You're near revered with KoT, so get that then get the timewarden's leggings until you get a kara drop or something, since they'll provide a lot of stam.. Socket them with 3 stam gems, throw nethercleft on them and you'll be adding a lot of health to your set. you'll need revered for the helm enchant which you'll want as well, its the best for pally tanks in the game by a long way.
Replace the cloak with a cloak of eternity (crafted) and put +12 def rating on it, to help with the uncrushability.
Also, you'll want to be using trinkets that boost your avoidance/block atm, you wont be able to use stam/threat trinkets at your gear level yet and stay crushable. If you ahve dabri's enigma, or the regal protectorale, use them, but as you are holy, you might have gotten the other quest rewards. If so, hope for moroe's pocketwatch, and farm out the FoTC from SH, since that gives 4%.

You wont be MTing for a bit hopefully, since the last bosses will probably be easiest with a tank of at least around 13k-14k health unbuffed/uncrushable/uncrittable. That said, a lot of these changes you can implement very soon, and you'll be ready to MT kara soon. I would DEFINATELY get the gear enchanted before you go kara, since anything under 490 defense is just making things unnecessarily difficult on the healers

Fair enough, I don't buy it, but without seeing you buffed/enchanted/regemmed then I dunno. You're in for a few weeks of struggling and hard work though.
