MP5

We all know that MP5 is not what a valid Main Tank should be gearing for. I was thinking well maybe it wouldn't be bad for an Off Tank. Here is my thinking, an OT is not going to be taking nearly as much damage as a main tank so spiritual attenuant is not going to be giving the mana needed for a pally to A. Generate threat B. Off tank Heal.

So I was thinking if a Pally wanted to OT, maybe a slightly different talent build, gear list, and other values that might be trash for a MT, might really shine for an OT.

Whats your opinion?

There's no way to get Mp5 on our gear, and unless you can get 100+ mp5, it's not helping either.

Too expensive and won't amount to more than a drop in the bucket compared to gains from SA, or even JoW (which is around 95 mp5 with a 1.8 speed weapon).

To match the mana regen from 50 mp5, you'd have to take only 6000 damage over the course of a minute.

Yeah, it would be an odd mix of Enchants, Magisters armour kits, Gems and such...

OT palis need a "shield-bash-own-face button". Well at least those of us who didn't roll Horde.
