Is engineering worth it when tankatronics aren't necessary?

OMG... the Khorium scope may never be in my hands... fighting those bowmen has to be the most aggravating thing in the game for a pally tank next to warriors that /l2heal

As for the Primal Nether, if you have better Heroic healing gear than tanking gear, you might want to consider a respec to get it that way.

guys.. you can do H mech with 10k unbuffed and 490 def.

take a lock to enslave the tinkerers and heal the one he enslaves while sicking it on his pals.

a decent healer.. a lock and your AOE tanking will make fast work with 2 other decent dps..

you wanna try and get AOE dps so its fast...

with the frequency that H mech is a dialy you should have no prob getting a group.

everyone Loves AOE tankadins on my server for 5 mans.. ( they whine and cry in kara when you AOE tank.. it makes the OT wars pissy)

and also (as another aside) this entire discussion is moot now that the battleworn tuskguard has been retooled in 2.4. it's better than the tankatronics in every way, and it's also not "unique", and finally it doesn't require sacrificing a profession to have it. enough za runs and you'll get one. or two. or whatever you want.

now hard khorium goggles is another story.

great news about the tuskguard, since the hard khorium will likely never grace Herbe's head.

out of curiosity...... why woould anyone want more than one tuskguard? isnt it kinda a waste of a bag slot, which are at a premium for hybrid classes like ours? I'm sure I must be missing something...

If you're building a resistance set, stacking that helm with aresistance glyph and a stamina gems would be nice. The extremely high stamina on those helms helps make this tempting.
