OT: Nightfall

possible bump, i havent checked the post dates, but;

can anyone verify if nightfall can proc off SoB (and not in a PPM-based fashion)?

i have one that i swing around when im not tanking, i check if it will proc off SoB next time im online but i usually have crusader up for the faster swings but from what i can tell it seems to be random.

ex: ive had it proc 7 times on a single trash pull in SSC but 3 times durring a Magtheridon fight. maybe it was just the fact that mag = raid boss and naga = stupid snakething that caused it to proc more.

anyways ill check if SoB can proc it.

I had one of these made and my caster dps is really happy with me. It procs a decent amount not a whole lot but that is probably becuase i seem to miss and get dodge/parried with it. I know you shouldnt dps from the front to avoid this but it is on trash most of the time. So the fact that i dont have much if any hit rating on my gear might affect my proc rate. I am really hoping this is going to change in 2.3 today when i get weapon expertise.

I also put an iron counter weight on it since it isnt really about the dps of the weapon it is more about the procing of the effect. I just judge wisdom/light then seal crusader and start hacking away with this.

For and estimate i would say it proc about 2 times per 30 seconds of each Seal of the crusader. So roughly once every 15 seconds of swinging. I will try it out with SoB today if i make it home in time for my raid.

tested it out in gruul's lair and TK trash. SoB seems to proc it but my combat log is messed up and doesnt even tell me that im putting the debuff on even though i see it on the guy. so im not 100% sure.

Yet I can say this, i have used this axe with crusader for a majority of the time ive had it and this is the first time i have ever given SoB a shot and it procced alot more than usual.

It's still quite nice when you have 2 Nightfalls proccing at same time during Maghteridon's Banish...

Do any of those of you using one use a mod to announce when it procs or just let the dps go away at it and cast regardless?

no, well i dont at least, the reason behind it is if i had a mod announcing its proc then it would mess up the casters dps button rotation causing some to save it for if/when it procs.

Gathering the mats to make one soon. Anyone know if they nerfed this weapon or are intending to in a future patch?
