Gear Check/Advice Thread (All Specific Advice Requests Here)

I'm in a bit of a rutt at the moment in regards to my gear. I've checked out the gearing guide here on the forums, and its great, but I just can't seem to cap my avoidance. I'm working on getting a few badges for the 15 Badge libram for block rating, any advice on gear is greatly appreciated. My class leader says I need more block rating and I shouldn't need to gem to reach my avoidance target, but I just can't seem to do it without them.

Edit: Some of my gear is different than on armory. I have the devilshark cape enchanted with dodge rating, andormus(sp?) tear ring and the CE Rep Neck. I also have the Aegis shield from Bot enchanted with plus stamina. Sorry about the mix up but I must have left that gear on last night when I was playing around with it.

Anyway I just wanted to ask if i should try and stack more dodge/parry or simply just go straight for stamina.

I'm currently raiding ZA/ssc/tk and starting hyjal soonish. Anyway if you could give me any advice on what I could do to increase my survivability and TPS it would be greatly appreciated.

currently (with that gear) you should be on 87.74% uncrushable which is too low for most bosses. With andormus ring and devilshark cloak, you should be at around ~91-3%. The block rating libram will make it go up by 5.33% so if you are raid tanking bosses, get that first. Also, if you can nab the Block rating trinket from SH. And his correct, to reach initial uncrushable you should be aiming for block rating gear. There are a few drops, check out the uncrushability list for upgrades to each slot and which you can acquire.

You should consider changing around the enchant on your chest from health -> defense, and changing a few gems to stamina instead. You are at 103.77% without kings, probably 105% or close with kings up (2.6% wasted block rating). 150 health doesn't scale with our talents and is equal to around 11.6 stamina, which is "equal" to around 8 defense rating. Consider changing the ZA ring with a high armor/avoidance ring instead. Walk the fineline between uncrushable and avoidance, once past the uncrushable go for dodge/defense, then for stamina once you are happy with your avoidance or you feel you need more health.

I know from reading so far i need to have blockvalue and stam.
And +spelldamage should be scaling with the gear/skill of aoe-ers in our raid? Mages got 1200ish, Locks got 1100ish.

I forgot to click off some buffs when I logged. My question is, which libram should I get. I have the badges to buy either badge libram but wasnt sure which one. I am uncrushable with HS up.

Prot is my offspec, and I just go prot every once and a while for fun, so this spec hasn't gotten as much loving as holy has. Any other gear advice/criticism would be useful. My guild is in Hyjal atm but I mainly heal there, I guess I would like to be able to tank in Hyjal at some point. Thanks
