Vexryn's Cataclysm Master Tank Gear List & Gear Progression

vexryn wrote:Fully updated for ZA/ZG tank gear!

Great! Thanks Vexryn, awesome job!

Hey Vexryn, huge work thanks a lot, all my guild uses your post as reference for the BiS tank gear for pala, DK and war!

just a word about the new loot table on Al'Akir, he now also drop T11 helms
as well as a BiS amulet: http://www.wowhead.com/item=69828 , wich is clearly better than the Rage of Ages from Nefarian
and the heroic version aswell

another little word is that the heroic BoE items dont exist IG, sadly!

otherwise your list is perfect, thank you again

Updated with a few missing items, and finally fixed all the Al'akir loot.

Will be doing LOTS of updates in the coming 1-2 weeks with everything for Firelands!

Going to be maintaining this list going forward on a new site: Vexryn's Guides

Many updates coming soon with patch 4.2. Stay tuned!

my company is onto your website, and has it on its ban list. how is this possible!

I just posted my first-take guide on Patch 4.2 tank gear as well. Further reading at Vexryn's Patch 4.2 Tank Gear Progression Guide.

Enjoy the light reading!

Now being updated for patch 4.3! Dragon Soul raid drops are in; valor point gear and other updates coming soon! Further reading at Vexryn's Gear Guide - Now Updating For Patch 4.3!

Further updated for Patch 4.3 heroic 5-man dungeons (and a few quest items).

Thanks, Vexryn: your efforts are very much appreciated. It's good that you are updating for this patch; if, as seems likely, it's the last new tier before MoP, it's going to be a useful resource for quite a while.

Yes, thanks for the update.

My sad panda is that your site is blocked by my work firewall so I cannot see it during my lunch break unlike info here on MTadin (apparently, the "failsafedesign" in the URL protects it from almost all firewalls) but I guess I will be looking at it at home.

Jeez, my site is blocked!?

I'm... umm... flattered? :/

Lol, well perhaps but our firewall is pretty smart and it scans the site for multiple key words to decide if it will allow it or now. It is not just a listing of URLs to prevent.

Your site falls into the "games" category by my filter.

Updated for some additional BoEs.
