Glyph of Spiritual Attunement

Increases the amount of mana gained from your Spiritual Attunement spell by an additional 2%.

I didn't see it mentioned yet. *If* we have any mana issues even with the new BoSanct and other mana restore powers, this might be a nice tanking glyph.

I don't get why the wording changed.

"By an additional 2%" means that it effectively changes 10% to 12%.
"by 2%" means that it adds a 2% of that 10%.

Mana shouldn't be an issue at all. Every raid will have at least one "mana returner" - either a ret pally, survival hunter, or spriest. Plus bosanc pretty much solves the problem all by itself. All in all, it'd be much better to get a different glyph in that slot.

To be fair it makes 3 paladins more livable if you don't need sanctuary's mana return.

They're actually 2 different effects.
T6 reads:
"Increases the mana gained from your Spiritual Attunement ability by 10%."
Mathematically this is 10% + (10% * 10%) = 11%
So with T6, you're getting back 11% of heals as mana. Ask anybody wearing T6, they're not getting back 20% of heals as mana.

The new glyph is:
Increases the amount of mana gained from your Spiritual Attunement spell by an additional 2%.
Mathematically this is 10% + 2% = 12%

I could see this glyph being nice in certain situations. Offtanking something like a Hateful Strike, for example; you only take damage every so often, so BoSanc isn't helping.

That said, with BoSanc and Plea, you should never come close to running out of mana while MT'ing.

It's basically, just annoys me that they change the wording on these sorts of things.

They say 10% OF an ability to make our 2pc look sexier than it is.

a glyph gets +2% (which is incidentally 2x as much as our 2pc).

I just wish blizzard would be more uniform, y'know?
