I'd say it's most useful as a 3.0 FAQ right now and should be updated to pure WotLK when it is released.

AS glyph is indeed more single-target threat than Judgement, if you want to deal with the more complicated rotation and are okay with changing your AS to single-target-only.

SoV glyph will be a top choice assuming it's actually 10 expertise and not 10 rating.

Righteous Defense glyph will, along with all the other taunt resist glyphs that other tanks get, be assumed for raid content. You won't get by without it unless you enjoy randomly wiping. Yes, there are taunting encounters even in Naxx.

So it looks to me like at 80, the Judgement glyph would be the choice of someone who wasn't comfortable with AS or didn't feel they needed RD.

Ugh. WTB SBV Glyph PST

[Edit] I notice you already discuss the glyphs, FWIW I have in fact run some numbers and AS always beats Judgement in terms of raw single-target TPS when used properly.

This may or may not have been posted in here already, but the Righteous Weapon Coating > All in swp, at least imo.

Regarding which forum this is in:
Agreed that it doesn't really belong here, but Worldie is also correct in that it's probably serving Maintankadin best in this forum. This is where the majority of the "HOW I PLAY TANK" threads pop up, so this is probably the best place for this thread.

Regarding "Lore's Prot DPS" spec:
I threw that spec together for my Tankspot article partially with offtanks in mind - someone who isn't tanking 100% of the time and wants to be able to switch to DPS. If there's even a glimmer of a chance that you won't be tanking every encounter, Divine Guardian deserves two points. It's just that good. Feel free to put those two points elsewhere if you're going for a "zergmode MT" spec.

I agree that this FAQ is a very nice 1-stop shop to get a lot of questions answered. Thanks for getting it all together in an easy-to-read format.

2 things:
1)This forum has been extremely useful in building the prot paladin community, in particular with educating new and old with proven techniques typically backed by data (either numerical or empirical). Real data is invaluable in proving points.

2)The OP is extremely defensive, and thus it leads to a lot of non-constructive posts. Take away the back and forth tennis match, and this thread is a couple pages shorter. I would recommend that the OP give feedback for what can be assumed to be bad ideas - but feedback without so much negativity. Stifling questions in any valuable thread is bad.

I hate trying to stick to rotations when tanking I find its better just to try to keep your threat moves on CD and ppop CD's when nessacary (now dpsing on the other hand Wink
