[LIST] Tanking Gear Uncrushability Values

This is fantastic! Thanks for putting it together.

It would be interesting to have an additional avoidance total per item called "Maximum Unique Avoidance" that includes:

1) The avoidance from the best combination of gems (i.e. best pure avoidance gems or depending on socket bonus best combination of gems)
+
2) The avoidance from Agility with Blessing of Kings active

Might make the ranking of the items different or give a clearer picture of the real "potential" tradeoffs.

I've been browsing this list (which has been very helpful) for reaching passive 102.4% uncrushability (and as my goal, invincibility against anything that hits less than my block value).

If anyone is attempting to do the same thing as I am, make sure you consider the block value of certain items and the gem slots (mostly with +8/+10 defense gems unless the bonus is more mitigation). Hitting 102.4% while having a talented 800 block value allows for some very...interesting things, and is possible with the current gear available.

Oddly enough, some of the best gear for this purpose has very low item level where best-in-slot ranges from heroic blues to Black Temple gear. Make sure you consider all stats and sockets!

Yes, I understand that this is by far not the best "tanking" gear overall. It is a very specific purpose.

Isn't Battleworn Tuskguard from ZA getting its shield block rating changed to defense rating in 2.4?

So far zero drops for me, no even a plate.. the epic vendor has some interesting things...

A big thing to fix is Battleworn Tuskguard. +40 block just became +40 defense, which seriously bumps it down the list.

Yeah I saw the new shield on the sunwell vendor... they all seem to be PvP based, and the new armor that require 100 badges? insane number of bagdes IMHO, I can't even get 15 for the libram!.

There's an epic cape that Kael'thas Sunstrider (on Mag T) drops, lots of armor but with with resilience as bonus and lots of stamina, I wish it coulda been defense, dodge or even block. I guess a 1000g enchantment could fix that. (enchanters are so mean these days)

The links of new gems seem to point to Shifting Tanzanite.
