Basically the list fails as most of the items you listed as "best" in slot are extremely debateable or arguably not the best in slot. Your thoughts on mitigation and the value of block are questionable. Even then you contradict yourself because you include tier 7 helm which has no avoidance on it at all besides the defense.

IMO we should be striving to get a nice balance of block gear and avoidance gear using the highest itemlvl gear you have. Avoiding block gear will result in you taking a lot more dmg than a tankadin who gears for block when you get hit, even if you might get hit a few % less than him. Taking another 800 dmg off every hit is not a negligible difference especially on fast hitting bosses or aoe situations.

Any chance you could put together a "best in slot" guide for Retadins?

Shure they might beat them in terms of avoidance , block rating , etc. but they ALL fail behind in terms of stamina , the stat wich is the MOST important for us , deny that and your quite foolish

Also not getting 4 set bonus is very very very foolish

It is most beneficial if you stack stamina , considering how AD is good now , simply very few things will leapfrogg it ,but the more hp you have the more breathing space your healers will have when the boss hits ya for a big burst

As for the dodge+parry vs block rating+BV argument , I keep my idea that a balance is something wich must be achieved

Also don't be so quick to forget about pieces with expertise and hit they do have their role aswell

P.S. I do not take a piece only because it has most stamina , I take a piece based on the balance of stats I have on my overall gear

P.S 2 The four set bonus will save your ass alot of times , don't be so quick to diss it
