MT gear progression

Fair enough. But if the ZA shoulders (Pauldrons of Stone Resolve) are ranked, I don't see why Jungle Stompers shouldn't be on the list as well.

Could someone explain how Frayed Tether of the Drowned is beating The Darkener's Grasp? I just don't get it, and nowhere in this thread does anyone defend it. To me, it looks like a sidegrade to the Barbed Choker of Discipline off Maiden.

It's an oversight, I'll fix that now.

I've also put the trash cloak and the badge cloak as equal (though I think I prefer the latter) and removed the Alar cloak for redundancy.

I must admit I have not read the entire 15 pages, but, I do have a question, in fact, an interrogation on the viability of my personnal tastes.

When I look at, let's say, the new 2.3 badges gear, combined with the ZA gear (no idea why I put them in the same basket). I look at the paladin specific items and I don't want them, I want to other ones, which some could consider as being for warriors, but which I simply consider to be for tanks. You know, Jungle Stompers over Sabatons of the Righteous Defender, Iron Tusk over of the Protector, etc. Of course, I'm raising my paladin do be a MT, not an OT, even though I know how to be one when needed, and I can make the appropriate gear switch to do the job. Same goes for the T5 gear, when comparing it to ZA/2.3 badges gear. I feel like, although in most cases the armor on the T5 is higher, I am loosing too much in stamina and avoidance to maker the T5 pieces (although there are some exceptions) viable upgrades to the Unwavering Legguards, or my Iron Gauntlets of the Maiden.

Am I normal?

It would be great if someone knowledgeable would do a list that was the same as this but added in additional raid drops. For example the boots off Solarian or the Jungle Stompers, teh Iron-Tusk Girdle, etc..

I understand from the discussion above that this is not the list for that, but a more comprehensive rating list would be very useful for me. While my opinions might sometimes differ, it's great food for thought and a handy reference. The uncrushability list is exhaustive, but only measures along a single dimension and is therefore of limited general utility.

If any more knowledgeable tankadins could put together such a list, I for one would find it quite useful.

May want to take a nice look at the upgrades the 2.4 patch is bringing - especially the Tier 2 loving that the Tanktronics are getting.
