Apart from probably being an insane thing to grind this close to WotLK, Exalted rep with Thrallmar would give you access to Stormcaller. An 18 point penalty to stam, but 30 extra +spell-damage.

Is this weapon viable as a tanking sword at all?

can this guide get updated for the new patch ie the weapons and the spell damage to strenght changes.

yappo: when the new patch comes out in some days they will change conscreate to use your spell damage AND attack power and they are changing all the spell damage in tanking gear to strenght. this lets paladin focus on getting warrior tanking gear instead of spelldamage gear. also i read somewhere that instead of using a seplldamage mace paladins want to use warrior swords for tanking. but not too sure in my opinion wait a bit and see how the new changes affect paladins.

My pally is like lvl 69.4 right now and I am curious as to how much this guide is off? I am desperatly trying to figure out what I need to get so I can jump into heroics ASAP type thing.


Can someone link me to the correct topic? I am almost sure there is a good estimate on here some where of min stats to tank heroics.
