To mine or not to mine...that is the question

In my guild i rank #2 in avoidance.

DKs got me by a bit cuz of his buffs and w/e.

But i trump the warrior/druid in avoidance.

Warriors especially get punished most for stacking avoidance and not getting hit/expertise. Their threat becomes garbage without these 2 stats where as a paladin can stack as much avoidance/hit/expertise and still maintain insanely high threat. So itemization usually plays a factor.

the only thing that bugs me at this matter is our inferior HP (soon to change) and lack of saves. I mean Last stand is a very good save, but DKs and Druids have 1 min shield walls + other shit they can use. We have a passive shield wall below 35% (not 100% reliable), sacred shield (a proc that you can't always get it to work exactly when u want it), and seal of light/jol procs, and LoH on a 15 min cooldown. All which are minor except LoH and SW. Every1 has SW but ours is on a 4 min cooldown. LoH can't be used on repeated attempts. And the other minor buffs/gimmicks just dont make the cut.

WTB Last stand! If not last stand, our HP should be between a below a druid and above a Warrior's HP pool to make even better use of Ardent Defender.

Anything that his in the range between 1*BV and 2*BV is much better for a paladin than a warrior since the warrior will be wasting their crit blocks, and taking unblocked hits while we will simply block everything.

Sadly this doesn't include many bosses, but does make heroics trivial.

Anything with unpredictable burst (like say prince in kara) paladins would be better, anything with predictable burst (like brutalus) warriors are better due to shield block.

But, only Sath 3 drakes really tests tanks, and that requires a CD to survive a double damage flame breath with less health anyway.
