Female blood elves are too skinny for my transmog showboating needs. Am male tauren at the moment, which is fantastic for my tank spec (not much looks more tanky than a male tauren tank) but looks a little clunky and awkward in dps spec, with the stubby arms clinging to the two-handers like it's an oversized baby rattle. Female taurens just don't do it for me, and the masculine female blood elves gives me the creeps (sorry Klaud).

Yeah! Aint nobody got bigger boobs than male Tauren! ...well, maybe male Pandas...

Seriously though. My main issue with the female Blood Elf thinness is the arms and legs. I wish there was a weight slider.
Guild Wars 2 had great character creation. Didn't like much else though, sadly. :(

I still have that song on a macro to play when I want it (along with power to the horde)

Not directly related or relevant, but if you had the opportunity to experience both sides of the Landfall story, Lor'themar was in negotiations with Varian to bring the Blood Elves back into the Alliance. That was all undone, of course, after Jaina went batshit insane and had all Sunreaver residents of Dalaran imprisoned or killed.

They also allied with the Horde in the first place, because the Alliance effectively turned their backs to them in their time of need. When the matter of survival is in question, it isn't uncommon to look for aid from any source willing to give it.

Given that; if Alleria comes in and starts talking shit, then doesn't show an ounce of understanding as to why things are as they are now, she deserves whatever F.U. Sylvanas and Lor'themar give her.

Not after War Crimes. Any love Sylvanas had for her sisters is as dead as her body.

Care to expand? War Crimes is the one book I didn't read.

Been a while since I read it, but it basically involves a betrayal of trust between Vereesa and Sylvanas, resulting a failed plot to assassinate Garrosh in retribution for Rhonin's death. Something to that effect, at least.

There is a bit more than that, but that should give you the general idea.

Re: World of Warcraft: Legion

Ok, that sounds like an issue with Veressa, not Alleria.

Uhm.

So Illidan is actually going to be... sided with players? That's a plot twist I'd love.

The Park in Stormwind won't be repaired yet.

Not like it's a big issue, but it's still a little funny. Put up a few activist-NPCs nearby the park area and make 'em yell about a "Fix the park!" petition imo.

Send that in via some channel, and yeah - awesome idea :)

Re: World of Warcraft: Legion

Heroes of the Storm has a silence function for abusive players. C'mon, Blizz. You can port this across games.

Re: World of Warcraft: Legion

Don't we already have that? /ignore ? (or am I misunderstanding what silence function does?)

Re: World of Warcraft: Legion

If I'm not wrong the silence function in Hots (and other mobas) also block any sort of emote and interaction from the person

Yes, you are silenced, rather than ignored. No one can hear/read you on any public channel. You can still chat to your friends list but no one else has to hear or read your bs.

So a player can "silence" another player and make sure others can't see their chat? How do they avoid griefing?

Re: World of Warcraft: Legion

No, not that. Simply silencing another person prevents any sort of interaction... *with you* including any kind of emote or vocal/written interaction.

Re: World of Warcraft: Legion

But /ignore does the same (on a per character basis rather than per player basis ofc)

Gotcha. The "no one" in the quoted text threw me. Sounded like a global mute of some type.

It is. It is imposed by GMS after research. The culprit is muted globally for 2 hours, the amount increasing each time it is imposed. And spurious complaints can get you muted as well.

Re: World of Warcraft: Legion

That was amazingly topical. I will put relics of the soon to be dead Tiron in my new backpack.

I would rather not see the old man go down but if it gets rid of Thrall, I will be somewhat mollified. Once again, Alliance characters die to make the story.

Yes, I'm still grumpy about Theramore, why do you ask?
