The coolest Paladin mechanic that doesn't exist

EDIT: This idea is in addition to the current state of things, meaning double Sealin baby.

Seals on Shields: Being able to place a Seal on your Shield, much like a Shaman can place a different weapon imbue on their off-hand as well as their main weapon, is a mechanic I think would be freakin' awesome.

I've decided that this Seal would be only proc off abilities directly using the shield, like Shield of Righteousness, Holy Shield, or Avenger's Shield. Limitations, logistics, and balancing aside, the thought of trash tanking with Seal of Justice proccing off Holy Shield is a wonderful thought, or perhaps with Seal of Wisdom as a replacement for removing BoSanc.

Really no different than the current situation except ours is a self buff rather than a weapon/OH enhancement. Also your plan screws over ret seeing as they don't use shields.

Well, the current setting doesn't put seals on weapons anyway, it's a seal on ourselves, not on our weapon, isn't it?

In my opinion allowing two different seals on weapon and shield really isn't that interesting. Choices become non-choices if you can have too many choices.

i think it's an interesting idea. i don't see any practical use for it at the moment, but it's pretty unique. dk's enchant weapons and we enchant shields

by practical btw i mean more of like having a necessity for it at the moment. we have a lot of stuff to buff already
