Headless Horseman

Horseman helm drops retardedly often, for me at least.

Guildies are offering to pass on the cloth helm for me and gf cause we both really want the proto drake and the guildies are "meh" to it.

Been doing 16 tries each day (the other 4 people are altaholics) for as long as its been out, only saw 2 pets (got one of em) and one helm (went to the gf). Still need 1 helm 1 pet between the two of us and we get the damn +spelldmg +mp5 ring at LEAST half the time

I didn't even realise there was a mount reward. Was wondering why everyone was so concerned with getting the achievemwents.

Solo'd him for the first time this morning. Not too difficult, just slow.

Got the pet though! No mount /weep.

I've been running this with my fiancee. We each dual box a couple of our toons and bring in another alt just for loot. So far all of my level 50+ alts have their epic rings and pretty much everyone has a broom.

Two nights ago the plate helm dropped for us for the first time. It proceeded to drop two more times immediately thereafter. It dropped twice more back to back last night. We have received a few of the blue cloth helms for the acheivement, but so far no squashlings in just over 50 summons. We have seen the sword a few times, which my wimpy rogue was glad to get. No mount for us either.

My fiancee did get the title on her hunter, but the squashling dropped for her last year.

Been killing him abuot 10-15 times a night. First night was a pet and the hallowed helm, second night was just the hallowed helm. For some reason last night in about 15 summons saw about 4 pets and 5 hallowed helms, even had two times where he dropped the pet and the hallowed helm on the same kill, everyone in my party got sinister calling done and some alts are halfway there now. Still haven't seen a single mount but I'm holding out hope.

Also, for those that are interested, I've looked over the achievements for other holidays. While it could certainly change, I think the Squashling/Helm achievement is probably the "toughest." The only one that came close was getting the Peddlefeet pet on Valentine's week, but even that can evidently be farmed via level 1 alts and sent to your main.

Persevere! It's the toughest part all year!

Finally got the mount this morning, on the 64th summon or so.

Still farming for a 2nd pet on my wife's paladin.

Randomly trick or treating on unused alts ... I got a squashling in a goody bag.

1. I hate all you people who are seeing the pet drop repeatedly.


2. For those of you on the beta, how do those rings stand up heading into Northrend? Would it be reasonable for me to advertise in trade that I'm taking level 65-69 alts, and they can get great rings for starting Wrath with? Or are those gonna get replaced real quick?

Or should I just forget about honesty in advertising?

WOW, the pet and the helm are dropping from the Trick or Treat bags at a plain ridiculous rate. I had just gotten my paladin his sinister calling last night from horseman dropping the items. Today from trick or treating my 68 warlock was able to get the pet to finish his Sinister calling. My lvl 1 bank alt, first trick or treat was the hallowed helm, his second was the squashling, yes my lvl 1 alt has completed sinister calling. To compensate they should bump up the mount drop rate or something =/
