Disc Priest healer: bad choice for Tankadins?

You can still Block, dodge, and parry while under an absorbtion effect, so basically, it makes the shield last longer.

You still wont get mana back from the heals, but you shouldn't be having too much in the way of mana issues anyway with the new BoS

Prot gear if armory is ret

I've not done any heroics as prot, (tanking as ret, with ret gear ftw) but I would imagine everything dies before it makes much difference...

Probably the worst named paladin ever.

Basically a disc healer won't give you mana issues where you'd have them anyway even with BoSanct.

Those bubbles, remember, aren't gonna break your mana regen. If it's aoe, you'll be getting a lot of returns from sanct, and on bosses, the damage output is always going to break the bubble in one hit.

I can't wait to raid with a disc healer. High Inspiration uptime is oh-so-sexy.


Healing numbers are skewed because bubbles aren't considered healing, even though they expand your lifetime, probably better than healing on some situations. Disc healing perks could very well be named under it's last 5-pointer: "Borrowed Time"
