Regarding: Fear / Silence / Mana Burn

It's a bit silly arguing that all the tanks should get silence/disarm protection when blizzard has already stated that we're not going to get silenced/disarmed while MT'ng and so far there is no wotlk encounter where it happens. (No, Faerlinas adds do not count, although I will admit that Anub'Rekhans aoe silence is very annoying but we're not meant to tank during that so meh.).

I understand there were alot of unfavorable mechanics to paladin tanks in the burning crusade. Blizzard came right out and admitted, after the fact, that we were gimmick tanks and they designed these encounters with the intention of warriors tanking them.

I also remember blizzard coming out and saying this wouldnt be the case for wotlk, and to date, i have yet to be feared, silenced, or mana burned by a boss, in wotlk.

In current content, there are an extremly small number of trash mobs and boss adds who do annoying things, but none of them are bosses, none of them are life threatening to a tank, and none of them favor other tanks over paladins to any appriciable degree. If there are bosses that do these things in 3.1, then we can complain, but everything ive read on test realm info so far doesnt mention any of these things from bosses, at all.
