Pally Epic Mount to be Trainable

It requires you to buy the riding skill, so you'd be nuts not to go and do the quest chain anyway. It's far cheaper.

My belf pally is going to hit 70 on his welfare mount. I'll be going back to solo the Charger quest.

Several big changes:

1. Yay for Shield of the Templar!

2. The crusader strike glyph is crap now, guess I'll be replacing mine

3. Looks all the ret changes are an attempt to tone down their burst, yet maintain their sustained DPS. Biggest concern is still how it will play out at lvl 80 vs 20K hp/700 resilience opponents in PVP, which will negate the burst with ease. Will it be lolret in PVP again at 80, despite it being OP at 70? If so, here's hoping that Blizzard doesn't take a year and a half to attempt to fix it like in BC.

If a ret paladin burst doesn't kill an opponent quickly, will they still be viable in PVP? That is the concern.

I feel like they should have done something to keep the quest line together. Maybe not going to those old world instances, but make it a soloable quest line that requires you to use all the new talents. Maybe take on an soloable "elite" or something that pays homage to Uther.

The lore was nice, it's a shame to see it fall away.

Not really sure why they have to wait to 61 though when other classes can buy their mount at 60. If they have removed the quest line, that's a head scratcher to me.

I just got my epic mount at 63 and helped a warlock get theirs in DM West. Both were great to do. The warlock quest is so amazing. I'm glad I got to see that in person.

questchain is very easy with the new talents and all. Just did all parts except scholomance solo on lvl 63 and the last part at lvl 64 with a lvl 62 hunter this weekend. We didn't even die once there...only thing to be careful of is the new seal/judge system that messes up the ability to use judgements as holy wraths in the event. It was very fun to do, even though it felt a bit weird to revisit scholomance being so overpowered.

Now I wont have to run all those Flavor of the Month Pally rerolls in my guild through all those awful pre-BC instances when they hit 61.

Anybody else notice the bit about judgements, our thunderjudge just went from unresistable to we need to stack up melee hit if we want to keep it up.
