You should involve EVERY npc in the camp except jaina at the start and at 30% kite him to her , she can survive death and decay from 30% quite easily

yesterday we lost like 10 dps ( fools ) but we killed him though , don't underestimate those npcs Razz

I also got to MT Vashj on my guild's 1st progression kill of her on Sunday. Was only our 3rd night working on her.

I died in P3 at about 30%, our other feral tank picked her right up and we got the job done.

This week I hope to live. Laughing

Illidan down, 2xpala T6 chest tokens...whilst I was out at a party no less >.>. Let the farming commence! So far I've only been hit by one eye beam (except when I disconnected twice ><)

Illidan is a fucking douche bag. Saw 2 shields in our first 3 kills, been waiting almost 2 months now and no 3rd =[ However, tonight was a pretty damn good night still... First 1 night BT clear, finished in just under 4 hours and 15 minutes as we looted Illidan, picked up my healing boots off Naj'entus and my cloak off his trash and then FINALLY Supremus gave me some shoulder love, relieving me of my t4 that were almost worn out.

Last week, I brought up the prospect of me tanking Reliquary of Souls phase 3 with my raid leaders.
I was shot down and yelled at for my presumption.

This week, I saved my entire raid by picking up Reliquary of Souls phase 3 when the warrior got instantly destroyed in the first 40%.
All the while the warrior MT was praising how little damage i was taking.

I'm riding an massive adrenaline high.
Tonite was a big turning point.

Got some nice loot from Onyxia last night: Quel'Serrar and Judgement Crown. Old school, sure, but so much fun. ^_^

Got Revered with the Keepers of Time finally!

Bought my Wardens and equipped my Tear. Lost some stamnia's with the Tear, so I'll have to make that up somewhere...maybe buying the +12's for once...

Non-herioc Underbog downed at 62. Damn that levitate was a pain.

In ramps today, the rogue and hunters pop out the damage report to find neither of them in first. AoE tanking ftw. Pally hit #1 in damage (I think I am starting to outgear ramps a bit, but that dragon (final boss still rapes me if the healer isn't doing his job well).

Well, this isn't as impressive as downing Illidan, but I was excited, so here goes:

A couple weeks ago I was MTing Kara with a Fury Warrior OT. He never could get Attumen off me, so I ended up tanking them both. Had no idea I could, but it was actually pretty easy.

On Sunday I was chatting during our Kara run and I mentioned Maintankadin. I said it was a really great place, like a brotherhood - or maybe a support group. They got a kick out of that.

So last night we're fighting R&J in Opera, and for the first time ever I'm tanking Romulo (when I started in Kara, I was about 9000 unbuffed hp and crushable, so I typically took Julianne and our feral Druid took Romulo). I'm sure I have the stats to pull it off, but for whatever reason I die during the last phase. The Druid and I whisper back and forth and agree that, while we can do it this way, for the ease of the new people and just finishing (we had done Attumen-Maiden and were finishing with Opera), we'll go back to our old, familiar roles.

Now, our Druid is great and has tanked Romulo a million times, but for whatever reason, again during the final phase, he dies. I actually manage to pick up Romulo and hold them both. Meanwhile, our Resto Druid has gone on to the next life. Our Pally healer is actually doing a great job of keeping me up, to the point where I think "Hey, we might actually be able to DO this!" However, someone convinces him to DI me, and that's the end of that. I was actually kind of disappointed.

While we rez and buff, I comment that it's too bad we didn't stick with it, because if I successfully tank both then the Pally Tank Union gives me a free meatloaf. The Druid tank says, "Oh, those Maintankadin people?" Yeah, them.

So we get all buffed up, and it's discussed that this will be our last try, because some people have to go, and in the back of my mind I'm thinking about trash repopping. I'm also thinking that our guild is way, WAY past the point of failing to clear the first four bosses on the first night. To make things even more fun, Lay on Hands is unavailable.

So, one more try. I tank Julianne to death. Druid tanks Romulo to death. I pick up Julianne again. He picks up Romulo again, and dies. I manage to pick up Romulo again (thank you, D3 shoulders and T4 gloves!) and call out for all the healing I can get. And not only do I tank both of those punks, but we pull off a very well coordinated kill for the win.

Our Druid tank in guildchat: "Wow...Azor just tanked both Romulo and Julianne." Wink

To make things even better, my wife topped the damage meters during that fight, a first for her on a Kara boss. Very Happy
