Since they're broadcasting this in chronological order this time, this is episode 8, right after the baseball episode. It's got the feel of typical Haruhi non-first novel feel (episode 1-6) until 3/4 into the episode. Can't wait for the new episode.

Kadokawa managed to sneak the new episode into the re-broadcast in chronological order this time moving even "The Adeventures of Asahina Mikuru Episode 00" all the way back to episode 17 slot. Because the 4 episode arc "The Sigh of Haruhi Suzumiya" deals with the making of that 'movie'.

I will be happy as shit if they do Endless Eight. That was one of my favorite short stories.

And of course Disappearance is fucking spectacular. Easily the best Haruhi book in the series, by far.

Sighs is fun. I will lols hard at that.

Well, it's June 18, the next new episode's broadcast. It would seemed that the schedule I grab is an fan wag. Tonight's episode is indeed "Endless Eight", but it's will be a 2 parter. So for those of you watching it, and wondering what the catch is (other than a slice of life episode about how SoS brigade spend their summer vacation), you won't get it until next week. That means the rest of the schedule is going to be shifted somewhat, will we get 3 episodes of Sight (movie making) instead of 4?

And today's episode is "Endless Eight", again. Albeit, this time, the anime viewers are let in on the joke that this will be the 15497 iteration of the end of summer. Even an alien data collection interface gets bored by the endless iteration of the same 2 weeks.

I really feel the twist for Endless Eight should have been put in the first part rather than the second.

Hell I think this story could have been one episode instead of two. Oh well. I still enjoyed the first half, looking forward to seeing the second half speedsubbed when I get home.
