Slot Discussion
1. Helmet - No Debate
2. Neck - The 10 man hard mode is pretty nice because it includes a socket. This one is much easier to attain and the other one has a lot of ilvl distribution on expertise.
3. Shoulders - No debate
4. Cape - 10-Man 258 tribute cape is BiS until u can get the 25-man Tribute. It beats the hard mode 25man Jaraxxus one.
5. Chest - While you could use the offset piece here in this slot, its not optimal because you need to wear 4pc.
6. Wrist - Craft ones with 4 crusader orbs and your friendly neighborhood blacksmith. Make sure to leave a tip.
7. Gloves - VoA 25 if you are lucky, otherwise its badges/trophies or a diesel ass hard mode kill on anub.
8. Belt - Various options, get whichever you can.
9. Legs - This is offset piece you want to wear since the tier gear is optimized for mit/threat/hit.
10. Boots - No debate
11. Rings - 2 Clear best in slot winners, one in hard mode 25 and the other in hardmode 10.
12. Trinkets - This is probably one of the most critical/debatable categories. Personally i'm a fan of king llanes and heart of iron. To me the HP clicky on the satrina's is not all too impressive. The fact that it only lasts 15 seconds and is on a 3 min cooldown turns me off quite a bit. I will be passing the ilvl 245 satrinas and not replacing king llane's (~5% avoidance for 20 seconds on a 2 min cd) until i can get the hardmode 258 one. Being able to evasion tank or be less of a mana sink and control burst is fantastic. Definitely should not be overlooked.
13. Weapon - Sucks that all the weapons are at the last boss and are hard mode related. Sorthalis/Shiver will have to do til you clutch it out with a kill. The Tribute and 10-Man Anub HM weapons are very very comparable. And the 258 tribute weapon is total domination.
14. Shields - 25-Man beasts is about 600hp buffed inferior to a full stam gemmed boreal guard. I'd personally use boreal guard til I got me the hard mode 25 man off of Northrend Beasts or the 10 man hard mode one.
15. Libram - No real debate here. If you're doing normal modes the 200 str libram is good for threat/tps/dmg.
