So what is the normal progression once you get into upper Kara?

Never thought my guild would do it, but we finally go tpast Curator, I was thinking of heading to Shade next, but after that I am at a lost for who would be easiest. Should we try Illhoof, or head straight on to Prince?

For confort issues after Curator ( not scaled from easier to harder ) :

Shade ( For the library shortcut in case of wipe )
Ilhhof ( Optional : Easy badges if you have already downed shade )
Chess
Prince

Optional : Netherspite / Nightbane ( do it at the end or just book a raid night for it to learn it )

In the days of learning Kara, we would go Shade - Chess - Prince. Shade was too important to pass since it made for shorter corpseruns. Maiden, Illhoof, Nightbane and Netherspite were optional extras for a clean-up night post-prince if necessary.

These days, we just zerg most of them in order, killing Illhoof - Shade - Chess - Prince and then back to Netherspite if we can be bothered. Nightbane's killed after Opera and before Curator.

Shade of Aran first, once he's down you can port up to the library to save time.

Chess is free loot if you can get there, just a bit of trash to clear.

Illhoof is very close to Aran, I'd work on that fight next since you've already cleared the trash.

Netherspite tests your raid's coordination. A fun fight once the key folks understand it.

Prince is a gear check, tank especially. If you've tanked Nightbane without too much trouble you're probably safe on Prince too. This is probably the hardest fight, all things considered.
