Hellfire Ramparts - Pull Problem
Ok so after two nights of wiping on the same pull in Ramparts I'm stumped.
Here's the area: The large circular room at the top which has one branch going to the Dragon and the other to the demon boss.
There's a pat that walks the entire circle in a counter-clockwise rotation.
I've tried pulling the left side where the chest is first and also tried pulling the pat first with non-good results both times.
I have a feeling that I may need to LOS pull the left side clear back down the ramp but I'm a little unsure.
WTB less pulls with annoying casters

When the pat is the other side of the circle pull the group to the right of the exit to the tunnel and then run back to bring them in.
Next pull the pat as its just gone past the tunnel, then the group on the left. Rest is simple

Thanks for the info! Hopefully the boots will drop tonight so I don't have to go back. Between the Hunter, Priest and Shammy I've been to Ramps way too many times to count.

I usually pull the large group to the left, when the pat is on the other side, then run into the tunnel from where you came (a bit back in other words) then aoe tank them. But then again guess it depends on what kind of gear you have/healer

I'm a sick sick sick evil bastard.
I body pull the pat at 'just the right point', then do left/right, even on heroic
Standard procedure is to pull the left or right group after watching the pat go past.

Pull the left, past LoS (way, WAY past).
Pull the rovers.
Pull the ones to the right of the doorway.
Pull the ones to the left and near the ramp to the dragon.
Finally, pull the ones hanging out to the right.
I found out the hard way that you can't pull the rovers directly; they're linked to the packon the left. Or at least you can't easily. There is a spot where you can, but it's not reliable all the time.

Seconded. If you creep up to the pat and body pull u can take it seperately.
Then id take the right, then head left and work your way around the circle

I usually do the pat first. AS, timed correctly, will pull only the pat.
If you get more, oh well, you're a pally.

I wait for the pat to go away, and pull the group on the right. Mana Tap is ideal for a quick Aggro-LoS tool. The pat can be pulled but you have a half-second timespan to do it, I think.

I ended up in a BF group last night (and got the Sledgemace on the first trip so I don't have to go back to that hell) so I'll head for Ramps again tonite.
Thanks for the advice!
