REALLY solo tanking kara

I've been solo tanking kara for a few months now, always with a fury warrior/feral druid for the mana shield mob before curator and the magic immune mobs after him.

I was wondering if it was at all possible not to bring a warrior/fuzzball at all, and tank them myself somehow?

Magic immune mobs don't really need to be tanked, let the phys DPS go nuts.
The mana drain mobs can be a pain, but you can pull through it.

I managed to really solo tank kara using a holy paladin to do whatever was needed...

RF on Moroes, so I could BoSac him, bubble out of gouge if needed.
Take second red beam on netherspite.

We got Oz, so I didn't need any sort of off-tankage on Opera.

The only thing I can think of that you *can't* solotank in KZ is Netherspite.

That said, we've filled that "offtank" spot with my favorite holy Pally who happened to have redoubt

The skeleton guards on the way to opera that freezes you.

My guild has just started doing Karazhan. Non of us are over geared. We have never had a full raid (9). Also, we do not have an OT. We have been to Karazhan twice now and we have been through to the opera event (would have beat Opera on our first time seeing it, however; that gimp Roar feared me through the floor). To answer your question, yes to all ... so far. =)

The weird part about Roar fearing me through the floor.. I dropped through the floor but 'popped up' in the middle of the Philanthropists!? This ever happened to anyone else?

Interesting he sometimes fears people through the door and it usualy resets or something.

I am going to be solo tanking Kara for the first time tonight. The one problem i had in my head was moroes. So bascially all i have to do is Blessing of Sacrifice the 2nd on aggro? How exactly does that work if i am stunned?

Blessing of Sacrifice transfers damage from the blessed person back to you.

In effect, placing BoSac on your 2nd highest in threat would have Moroes go to him when he gouges you, smack that toon around, transferring damage back to you, concordantly breaking the gouge so you can pick Moroes up again.
