cancel aura no longer works?

been trying to set up a divine shield/ cancel aura macro,should work fine
but doesnt seem to
whats wrong with
#showtooltip Divine Shield
/cast Divine Shield(Rank 2)
/stopcasting
/cancelaura Divine Shield?

is the better way to do it. You have to press the button twice anyway, might as well set it up so that it still works in situations where you don't really want to cancel it immediately too.

Maybe put a stopcasting ontop to make it more foolproof?
Not 100% it makes any difference, just thought I'd mention it.

I've been hunting for a macro that will let me cast and cancel DS for the nightbane fight (IE dump the fear off me should something go wrong, then cancel it right away so that he doesn't go running thru the raid).

I'll try it as soon as I have a chance.

You might want to add a judgement and exorcism to your macro if you're making it for nightbane, I have this macro for tanking nightbane..

/cast Judgement
/cast Exorcism

use DS, make sure you have a seal up and then when Nightbane is finished casting click this for instant aggro back on you (if it ever left you)
