The heroic Dragon Soul tier set matches the legendary tank cloak quite well.

Gz on both :) And don't worry overmuch - If your schedule is light enough, and you can work something out with your S.O., you'll probably be able to raid again soon enough, possibly even before WoD ships.
When that day comes, seek all the light and wonder of this world, and fight.

So, there's this bodyshop that I have a friendly relationship with in the area. First time I took my car there after my first accident, and they found out who I work for, they treated me quite well - and did it again after my second accident, and after my little brother had his. Always awesome.

My mother's vehicle has been having issues with the rear driver's window just falling out of the regulator. Last time she took it to the dealership, they charged her $120 just to put it back in its place (alas, she went without telling me, too). Today, we went to this bodyshop I'm friendly with. Got there during the lunch break, but we came back an hour later (had ourselves some lunch too), and the shop manager fixed the issue, no charge. Just about 20 minutes to pop the panel off, correct it, and pop it back on. Now my mother has decided if she has an accident, that's where she's going too! (Seriously, this shop is amazing - John has seen me maybe 4 times in 3 years, and has never forgotten my name.)

The amusement came after - we decided to take her vehicle through a car wash. She's never done that before, and so I had to keep translating the attendant's motions to the sign. "Put your vehicle in neutral. Mom, take your foot off the brake." And then the sound of the water and the cloths on the car.

i thought the tech alpha for Heroes of the Storm, they were only inviting those that had followings and friends/family of employees

so either one of my close friends who knows my email secretly works for blizzard...
or i was mistaken, because i am downloading the client right now! :D :D :D

love the moba genre for its gameplay, but hate it for its steep and brutal learning curve and often vile player base if you dont know everything already
but from what i have seen, Heroes looks like it is simple enough that a complete noob can pick it up and learn it fairly fast
and is more team and objective focused, so that should help too

btw, starting a HotS thread if we dont have one already

Heroic Immers down. I acted as a pretty effective add magnet, what with a vengeance boosted ET rolling and all. Living through the onslaught and keeping aggro at 2 fps, dodging swirls and pools, spamming for new targets to get a SotR off as they all die, all that was a bit too RNG for my preference. First two phases sucked, but it got so much easier after that.

Had a great Hearstone match last night. A warrior was using a Wild Pyromancer, Commanding Shout and the minion that gets you a card every time it takes damage to get some insane draw and gear up for a really big bang against me. Luckily I was able to stall him long enough with Blizzard (twice) and Frost Nova (twice) to make him run out of cards, have no minions left, have 30 hp and 10 armor while I still had 5 cards in my deck and minions on the field.

Thank you Arcane Missiles to finally hit what I wanted it to hit ^^ (2 hits on the: take damage, draw a card minion while it had 3 health)

And a success at work: we finished 2 days early with all the features and bugfixes for the release we where planning to do today. Wich means we have 2 days to fix bugs that we want to fix for a change :p Wich feels quite good ^^

Our second normal raid puts us at 12/14 .
Back in october when we started this guild, I'd never have thought we'd have even killed a single boss in normal.
Quite satisfied of the people we have found and stuck with us.

On a side note, I also gained around 14 ilvls this run, so can't complain at all.

Weekly Siege 25 man normal cross-realm pug #3 complete. It was a huge success, Immerseus heroic and the rest including Garrosh dead 5 minutes before the set end time. Raid leading is kinda fun (but waaay too stressful).

And I got to do belts on Siegecrafter (all of them as a hunter). Took a try to get the hang of it, but after that it was smooth sailing. Most fun I've had in a raid in ages.

We also finally got our Garrosh 10N kill. We had to change up strategy a bit for our specific group and get some of the lower dpsers to step up their game (introduced them to some useful cooldown tracking mods such as weak auras, etc) but we managed to get it down. I completely failed to do the tank swaps properly in the first part of phase 3 as well and we managed to handle it. I was kiting adds and the Garrosh tank went down but luckily I had some cooldowns ready to go. I don't think anyone is in the mood to do any sort of heroics though. Can't say I'm interested in them, personally. I have a feeling the group may just be "done" until WoD rolls around. I do have to say for an end of expansion encounter, compared to the past it was pretty underwhelming.

Successfully quit WoW and bought a house!

Pretty bittersweet since it came at the end of our guild, with 300+ pulls on Heroic Garrosh. But now that we're all playing Diablo instead it's not so bad. I'm sure I'll be back casually in Warlords, but I have officially retired after nearly 10 years of raiding way too much.

My PC currently has an uptime of 89 days, and has probably been rebooted four times ever, mostly special occasions like this one. I'll see you guys on the other side.
