Try to look at it this way: your father would be proud of having helped you even after passing away.

Unless I win millions in a lottery, I think I'll be living in the "non-profit housing sector" (bad google translation).
Being wher eI am, I can almost guarantee that I can shape the direction and have apartment buildings erected that would suit my wants (just need someplace to put them). The rent may be higher in new buildings (the heat and energy will be lower) but hey, you don't have to get approved for a 30 year loan etc. and no downpayment (well 3 months rent circa).

Definately a cool way of handling housing.

It is still stupid. Garrosh has just been a series of pain in the ass bullshit annoyances where I've been fighting game mechanics more than the actual encounter. I basically have to unbind Consecrate for the fight and every so often every add from the empowered whirlwind will decide to love me no matter where they spawned.

No, your beef is still with the encounter and fellow raiders; you're not fighting game mechanics.

Here's what SHOULD happen.

Everyone in the raid is spread. When a swirl pops under them, they move out, target that add and instantly blow it up. This makes the add die in 3 seconds. EF healing threat split between 9 mobs even with RF will never compete with this kind of single target burst.

The only reason you're having trouble with this part is raiders running around like headless chickens not attacking adds. The game mechanics aren't at fault; you're only pulling threat on mobs that have 0 threat from damage dealers to begin with.

Tell your dps to stop sucking, pick an add and kill it.

Klaudandus wrote:but socialism!

but not socialism (for once) - democractic housing.
Laws stating that the rent must be equally split based on squaremeterage for a section, and some rules bout making sure to keep an amount of money in an account to pay for running upkeep (so rent doesn't fluctuate wildly depending on what things you need to do).
With a stipulation that 1 household = 1 vote (okay, most places 2 votes, so each adult in a partnered household has a vote, but you get votes regardless of amount of people or size of apartment) - from the people living there, a board for each section is chosen (size dependant on the decisions of the annual meeting - minmum 3 though). The housing association (usually more than 1 section, ours has 3) has a board that controls the company, where the majority must be residents (you can stipulate external members as well, usually someone designated by the city, or members with particular skills) - the members of this board is either chosen by an annual general assembly (where each household in the company has 1(or 2) votes) or by a group of representatives which are chosen from each secition by that sections annual residents meeting.

I won't say there are no downsides - the strenght of this model is the residents democracy, however that is also the weakness (a majority can block something that is needed to be done, because it will increase rent more than they are willing to pay for example), but it is mitigated, in that, if a board (either section board or company board) think taht neede maintenance is not being done, they can decide to tell the section to do it, or take it to the monitoring authority, which can then tell them to do it. (requirements being that it is neededd for the upkeep of the buildinsg, or required by law or somesuch - so a failsafe to guard against stingy residents letting the buildings deteriorate unacceptably)

Random curiosity as I've not done garrosh hc myself, why is it bad to pick up the whirlwind adds? They were an essential nonfactor damagewise in 25 normal o.o

When you kill them, they buff every other add in melee range by about 50% damage, double their health pool and heal them for about 50% max life. If about 5 adds die next to each other, the last surviving add will be capable of one-shotting anybody, including a tank and have tens of millions of life.

It also happens on ten and 25 man normal, it's just that they have such little life to begin with that it hardly ever becomes an issue.

Meh, we killed them until we had enough dps to kill the boss without any spawning until P3.
