This is an affront to the West. I can think of plenty of people we need to fire at the sun!

It occurs to me that, when I quit playing GW2 a year ago, I never thought I'd go back to it. But back to it I am, and the thief is hilarously fun as Sword/Pistol (plus, doing the Order of the Whispers questline is even funnier - my roommate whines I get the funny giggle-inducing quests, and he gets all the sober SAVE THE WORLD quests as Vigil).

Considering how much time I spent with GW1, I really thought I would play GW2 more, but something just felt off to me. Can't quite put my finger on it. :( Definitely gonna come back to it sometime, but just not yet.

I got to do a drinking contest with a bunch of pirates.

My roommate almost fell out of his chair in laughter.

I never played GW1, so I was very frustrated with GW2 when I first started, because, to me, it wasn't very intuitive as a new player. I had to dump my sylvari mesmer, and get frustrated as fuck, then I figured it out.

Hearthstone Arena, my opponent plays a Venture Co. Mercenary, and I don't really have any way to deal with it. But I have a plan.

Over a couple of turns I did what little I could, taking it to 2 health. Then I hit it with a Crazed Alchemist. Then I gave it Blessing of Wisdom. Now my opponent has a 2/7 minion that draws me a card when it attacks and prevents him from playing his own minions.

But it got better! Instead of attacking with it, my opponent, a Druid, Naturalised his own minion, giving me 2 cards!
I don't play WoW any more.

Wonder how Mythic SoO will turn out to be given the fixed raid size.

Update: I tried out Pistol/Pistol last night, plus doing my first dungeon there (Ascalonian Catacombs with a mesmer and 3 necromancers), and that was even more fun than S/P.
