But Winterspring! Ad don't tell me it didn't exist, we have horror stories of Alliance players about some kind of purple tiger!
When that day comes, seek all the light and wonder of this world, and fight.

http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic ... age=15#290 wonder how long it took to learn Blue Speak...
We live in a society where people born on third base constantly try to steal second, yet we expect people born with two strikes against them to hit a homerun on the first pitch.

Speaking of Old-timers, Dorvan and some of the others have had Pali's so long when they started, WoW was being played on an abicus.
Pali tanking then evolved through MUD's , which was hard as a Pali, due to typing in "I tank the mobs" the server divided by 0 and crashed.
Was the Wild f%|{'ing West back then.

Not sure if I count as an "old-timer" since I mostly lurk and come and go quite a bit, but my paladin is about to celebrate his 9th birthday, just a could of weeks post release.
He would've been the day of release, but it took me a bit to get DSL at my house so my wife and I could play at the same time, and when we got it installed we re-rolled together.
That's right. I've been playing so long that I used to play on dail-up.
