That is likely to be on purpose. They do not want Tanks to benefit from being critted as that means we're doing something wrong.

Well, obviously. The point of this thread is not "why," it's to document the mechanics.

Perhaps I did't take the word oddity the way it was intended. It came across to me as weird, but that's probably me. English ain't my native language, sorry.

The first oddity sounds like a bug, though...

Oddity does mean "weird thing" Thels. He's saying the point of this topic is not to find out why something is weird, just to prove it is.

In this case, it's "weird" because it acts differently than one would assume by reading the available information. The tooltip and spell data make no mention of ignoring crits, so if you were making assumptions about how the spell works based on those sources you'd come to an incorrect conclusion.

Part of the goal of this thread is to confirm mechanics, which includes carefully documenting anything that acts in a way that isn't immediately obvious.

5.4 PTR Selfless Healer testing:

Code: Select all
                   BoG Stacks
             0      1      2      3      4      5
        0  34540  35990  36032
  SH    1  34804  48449  49318  55762         70013
stacks  2  36018  42135  49698
        3  34751  41598  49829  57112  63241  70723

Just confirming that we get 20% per bog stack and no benefit from the SH stacks when self-healing.
